Villa Elisa is a suburb of Asuncion that was built by the Swiss and starts about 5 kilometers from the center of Asuncion. To get to the center of Villa Elisa one takes the exit avenue «Fernando de la Mora» that starts 3 kilometers from Asuncion’s city limits which means that the distance between the two city centers is only 8 kilometers. At the same time one can enjoy the tranquil rural ambiance, far from the agitated traffic, contamination and noises, etc,, in the midst of a green oasis without having to renounce to a first class infrastructure. All the main streets are double paved and in the center there is a very well equipped private hospital, private schools and a great assortment of businesses. Large supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants and automatic cash machines are in the vicinity. There is also public transport in Villa Elisa, several different bus lines will get you into Asuncion or the modern shopping areas in 30 minutes. |
